7+ Free HTML Photography Website Templates for 2021

Even in the era of Content Management Systems like WordPress, Joomla, etc., HTML is not losing its grip from the web. People still prefer it because of its simplicity. They have to give up on additional functionalities that are offered by other ways, but HTML still grabs its position among top ones.

For creating a website to showcase your photography work, you need an HTML template covering this niche. To help you further, I am adding a compilation of free HTML photography website templates here.

The menu and float icon looks fantastic on both PCs and smaller devices.

Shutter is a modern template that features a stunning hero header slider. This highlight of this template for me is the header design and the colour contrast which works well. I also like the grid base image display that allows you to go through images quicker that having to click next page contentiously.

Clark Paris is less fun and more professional and could be great for those aim to attract business from the corporate section. This is another great example of a template done right be TemplateMonster. The highlights for me is the smooth scrolling featured slider coupled with the smaller featured image section below the slider.

Gallery hub features a traditional style layout with the main being located on the left side. This template features a big featured image that could be used to show off your best work or a simple call to action.

Share Cafe is a Pinterest inspire HMTL template aimed at photographers. Share comes responsive according to the template author. I was unable to test this as the site demo was down at the time of writing this.

Photo folio is one of the cleanest free HTML templates I have discovered thus far. It’s sleek and responsive and would create the perfect photograph website for someone. Some of the highlights of this template is the smooth scrolling and the well-placed hero heading. You can tell the theme author as not overlook any small detail because the hover effect and page loading is just done in an elegant manner.

Katrine Dove

If you are looking for something a bit different, then Katrine Dove might just be the website template you were looking for. It defiantly leaves a lasting impression with the dark main colours contrasting with the bold images. You get a nice slider to feature some of your best work with a beautiful circular call to action area with another call out box just below the slider. Katrine Dove is a perfect fit for those creative individuals wanting to stand out.

    Thanks a lot for the useful post. Any reviews on these guys – webstarts? I find the conditions they offer rather good, the designs are very nice, too. Would be grateful for any helpful reviews or recommendations.
