Best Google AdSense WordPress Plugins to Increase your Earnings

Unless you’re aware of the techniques to earn money through affiliates, you need to rely on Google AdSense. It is a program that can help you earn money by monetizing the traffic coming on your blog. This isn’t a secret to any blogger who has survived at least for a year or even six months.

But the real trick is how and where to easily place the AdSense advertisement codes in order to gain maximum visibility while still following AdSense policies.

Since you’ve chosen WordPress as the platform to drive the blog, so you got few plugins that are ready to help you out in this situation. I’ll share their names, details and links from where you can get their installer package.

Best Google AdSense WordPress Plugins

Here is a compilation of best Google AdSense WordPress plugins. Just like every time, I recommend you to check each of them (or at least top three) and compare features offered by them. This is how you’ll end up getting the top most out of all.

#1 Quick Adsense

Quick Adsense

It is the number one choice for WordPress users around the world. It covers almost every feature that you may need. With over thousands of active installs, everyone is recommending it after using once. But, still there is one thing that isn’t completely right i.e. the plugin isn’t compatible with latest version of WordPress. Last script version supported is 3.5.2.

It comes with default ads positioning options along with custom ones. So you can choose the setting out of them and control the ads location. You can either specify a position or leave it on a random note. While Google only allows maximum three advertisements to be displayed on a single page, this plugin can help you show maximum 10 of them (not recommended though). It also comes with inbuilt widgets.

#2 WP Simple Adsense Insertion

WP Simple Adsense Insertion Plugin

This one offers two options to choose between when you’re all set to start showcasing AdSense ad units. You can either use the Shortcodes (of course if you don’t want to know any details) or you can even select and Call a function from Theme file. In either way, you’ll be able to do things as you are looking to, but you’ll be aware of minor details.

Going with the Shortcode way is much simple. Just insert the ad codes, select the number of units you wish to run and there you go. It required WordPress 3.0 or higher version to run successfully while the last version it is compatible with is 4.1.1.

#3 Adsense Widget

As the name suggests, it adds a special widget where you can place the AdSense code units, place the widget in sidebar or footer area and there you go. Along with this simple tool, it also allows you to change color codes and also opt for the option whether or not the ad units will be visible to Admin or not.

#4 Easy Plugin for AdSense

Easy Plugin for AdSense

Being compatible with latest version of WordPress makes this plugin the second best over here. You don’t need to pay anything for it and in return it will offer features like creating blocks for ads to be shown automatically, support for sidebar widgets and a rich set of tools. The Options Tool at the Dashboard area is very simple in design and well labeled.

Coming over to the unique features offered by this plugin. You’re allowed to display AdSense blocks based on post length, add a customizable mouse-over border decoration on ad blocks. And you can even manage link units (those which are not from AdSense). If you want to keep pages of your blog away from ads, then it’s also possible within this plugin.

#5 WP-AdPunch

WP-AdPunch

You must have heard its name. It had been there for years and to get it installed and running, you need to pay $18. So, welcome our first premium plugin in this niche. Being a premium solution it does offer free updates and dedicated support.

You can start with any of the eight ad modules available within and choose the area where to display or where not to display those units. You are even allowed to tag units. Like, you can tag a unit with Global, and it will be visible throughout the blog, even on pages and homepage.

Other unique features offered are Rich Text Editor, Social Icons to allow users to easily bookmark your blog and Side Slide Ads which activates only when a reader reaches the bottom. A Thickbox section is also there using which users can create Text Link Ads.

Looks interesting? Check it out over its sales page on CodeCanyon store.

#6 Google AdSense by BestWebSoft

It’s a lightweight and simple plugin that focuses primarily on providing a rich tool at the Dashboard where the user can place ad codes and control different units. It also comes with its specialized widgets to help you display ads in the sidebar or the footer area. It is available in different popular languages because of its translation ready attitude.

Certain customization tools are also offered, allowing users to select a color scheme for ad units, layouts and, of course, the number of units that can be displayed on a single page. In short, it does what it meant to without offering any unique features at all. Also, it is compatible with latest version of WordPress script, so it’s a good sign.

Wrap up

Although I’ve personally checked support and review sections of these plugins, and I didn’t find anything alarming. But still you need to check it yourself. Make it a habit in fact with every new plugin.

Once you’re sure of everything then you can begin installing your finalized one. I do hope this compilation I did, helped you. You can help other bloggers in your network by sharing it with them. Peace.

“Insert Adsense” doesn’t improve my earnings but makes my life easier.

In the last few days I wanted to change my main add on each page from a small one to a big one, and by only changing the HTML at Insert Adsense, all my pages changed at once. The other adds, stayed the same.

It does exactly what it proposes…and works perfectly on my bilingual site.

    Simple and great plugin.

      Hi Fora,

Thank you for visiting and sharing your thoughts. I would disagree with you about “Insert Adsense” doesn’t increase your earnings. I run a small blog in the beauty niche getting around 50k /mo visitors and by using Quick Adsense plugin, I was able almost to double my small AdSense earnings. Because I was able to insert ads into the article and test the different positions for better optimisation.
