BuddyBoss.com is the work of the Michael Eisenwasser. And, today we will go through the review of BuddyBoss.com. Also, check out the coupon code for exciting discounts on their products and services.

Buddyboss first saw the light of the day in 2010 when Eisenwasser fallen in love with BuddyPress platform and want to engage himself in creating a very narrow niche business. The business is now has a name, BuddyBoss.

BuddyBoss is mainly famous for his two amazing themes, Boss and BuddyBoss Theme, and also for their plugins surrounding the BuddyPress platform. Moreover, they have come up with solutions surrounding BuddyPress. We will go through the different aspects of what BuddyPress has to offer, and also see what they have to offer in terms of service and support.

So, why the wait? Let’s get started.

BuddyBoss.com Themes

BuddyBoss.com offers only two themes at the moment. But, don’t get the service wrong for offering only two themes, compared to other players in the market who offer tons of themes to choose from.

A look at their history reveals that they are mainly focused on BuddyPress platform and create add-ons for it.

The two themes are also focused on social network capabilities and BuddyPress.

Let’s go through them one by one.

Boss is a modern responsive WordPress theme that focuses on providing a completely new look and feel to BuddyPress.

The theme retail from a price point of $129 and actually makes a good effort to give the best possible experience using BuddyPress.

The theme focuses on the different aspects of social network and tries to make the world a better place with all the functionalities.

Boss offers flexible layout, customizability, powerful admin panel, the ability to turn the social network into a learning platform with a simple add-on social learner(more on this later), and much more.

Other key features of Boss include RTL and Multilingual support. And, yes it offers complete integration with all the popular BuddyPress plugins.

More About Boss

BuddyBoss Theme

BuddyBoss Theme is the older sibling of the Boss. It came into existence much earlier. And, yes you guessed it right. It is a BuddyPress theme and offers a great way to get started with the BuddyPress.

BuddyBoss theme is a more minimalistic approach to the two themes and offers complete responsive design. If you are a developer, you will feel at home with the theme as it is developer friendly.

Other key features of the theme are retina ready, unlimited color, SEO ready, translation, secure code and much more.

BuddyBoss.com Plugins

Now, comes the part of plugins developed by BuddyBoss.com. They are mainly specialized in creating amazing plugins for the platform. I really love some of their plugins and will only cover them, as it is not possible to go through every single plugin they have worked upon or released.

BuddyBoss Inbox

BuddyBoss Inbox is a simple plugin that enhances the basic capabilities of the BuddyBoss Inbox. As you can see, it works with their themes pretty well.

Other notable plugins that they have released until now are as follows:

Buddypress.com Solutions

Now comes the big deal. I know that themes and plugins are quite mainstream in the industry, but what about solutions?

Solutions are standalone in nature and provide a great way of amplifying the basic working process of BuddyPress.

I really love how they manage to come up with the ideas of the solutions.

There are currently only two solutions released by BuddyBoss. Let’s go through them.

Social Learner – LearnDash

A nice way of combining the LearnDash with BuddyPress and provide you an all-in-one social learning platform.

With the solution, you can easily engage the user with the gamification options enabled on the website. Moreover, it increases social interaction so that the members can keep in touch with each other.

The support for WooCommerce also goes a long way as you can sell courses easily without worrying too much.

Overall, it is a great solution, full of customization, admin panel and the ability to be integrated with popular BuddyPress plugins.

Social Learner for Sensei

This solution is similar to the above one, but it built using Sensei and BuddyPress. Combining these two, the user gets almost the same experience as the LearnDash solution.

Adding membership is easy and intuitive.

BuddyBoss.com Review

I have thoroughly gone through all the themes, plugins and solution they have to offer, and I must say that they have done substantial work in the BuddyPress niche.

Their plugins and themes are closely related. This can cause some limitation for other BuddyPress users, and this is the only downside I can see in their business towards the small niche.

They also do custom work and according to the interview of Michael Eisenwasser on WP Tavern, their main source of income comes from custom development. Their themes and plugin development is still growing, and they are hopeful that it will cross the profits made through custom development.

All their themes are professional and attractive. They are also focused on creating the right set of plugins to improve BuddyPress.

The capability of BuddyPress is impressive, and it has grown a lot in the last few years. BuddyBoss.com tries to find a footing in the small niche market, and I must say that they have nailed it until now.

The growth of the company and their products in the future could be interesting to follow.

They also provide great support for their customers through the support forum. Also, all their products are well-documented and easily available through their website.

BuddyBoss.com Rating: 4.5 out of 5
