Wrapping up

An iFrame is a very important factor of your WordPress website, particularly if you have to insert any external content from YouTube, Google maps, or other popular websites that might have some effect on your page’s overall performance.

A few years back, iFrames had gained a very bad reputation having been associated with causing harm to a website’s security system. This is because hackers and other malicious sites infect your site with a virus and ultimately infect other devices without users realizing it was using some of them. Nevertheless, this will only happen when you are not careful about the type of content that you are linking to your website. It’s for this reason why it’s always important to trust your instincts. If you discover some suspicious activities on the Internet, you should never link the site to your iFrame section.

Also, it’s crucial to remain reasonable when installing WordPress iFrame plugins on your site. Rest assured that all the best WordPress iFrame plugins listed here are credible and trustworthy. It’s upon you to choose the right iFrame plugin that works best on your webpage.

Hi Brian, I want to use vidgeos for my website. The videos are stored and streamed from Amazon AWS as iframe.. Do you believe that Google will ban me from search results because of safety reasons as you described above?

Hi Brian, I am embedding a back-end ecommerce website into a front-end WordPress site. I am able to embed the eCommerce site’s login page, as it’s a wholesale site only allowing display of confidential wholesale pricing to registered retailers. Upon successful login to the ecommerce site, it sets a cookie so subsequent retailer’s session to the catalog, shopping cart and checkout pages knows who the retailer is.

Problem is, the hosting front-end WordPress site is on a different domain from the embedded eCommerce site’s domain. After login on a WP page with the eCommerce login page embedded in an iFrame, if I go to another iFrame embedded eCommerce page, say product list, it behaves as if I never logged in. I suspect the second WP page with an iFrame for the product list is not recognizing the cookie set by the first iFrame with the login page. Any suggestions? or clues? Thanks.
