KYAN News is the most recent theme to be added to our ever expanding collection of WordPress themes available to download for free. With this theme, we wanted to keep it as light and fast as possible, and I am happy to say we have achieved that. For us as usually it’s all about the small details that make the world of difference.
This idea behind KYAN is to help you create a news or blog website like Upworthy, Distracityify, which focuses on the content and to have visitors clicking through and staying on the page longer.
It is no secret that a masonry layout is proven to increase pageviews which is what you get here. We have set the default post page to a full width that is extremely popular these days not only that, but it helps keep readers on page longer thanks to not having a distracting sidebar.
Many of you might not know this, but we use to create themes for clients in a variety of niches and have taken all the tips we learn along the way to give you all for free.
