Let’s jump right in:
The first theme in our list is Coni from QuemaLabs. Coni is a free, easy, eye-catching corporate WordPress theme that is built with a minimalistic design, but packed with features. This theme is highly versatile, however, allowing pretty much any blogger, big or small, to create a great-looking website easily.
The free version comes with standard features such as regular theme updates, a responsive layout, social icons menu, and WP custom menus. If you want to unlock extra features like a portfolio, map, team, or reorder sections, you’ll want to shell out the $59 fee to upgrade. The free version is great for standard bloggers, however, and will give you an idea of how great this theme is before going pro. Trust us, it’s worth every penny.
Another great theme to check out is a fairly new theme from FameThemes, OnePress. We love this theme because it looks great, but doesn’t sacrifice features in the process. Popular features that come standard with the theme include a powerful theme customizer, beautiful design, custom page templates, complete localization, as well as excellent support to back it all up. You can get the free version, which comes with tons of features as is, or upgrade to the OnePress Plus version for only $49.
This is one of our favorite companies to work with, and when you buy a theme from them, you’ll see why.
Their slogan is
Probably the BEST FREE WordPress theme
let’s have a look how much of this is true. First impression is it as most theme features I would expect from a good one page theme(so far so good). After testing Pixova, honestly it is the best one page WordPress theme I have tried so far this year, and I have tried a lot.
So what’s the hype about?
The design is next to flawless; we are creating our own one page WordPress and Pixova as set the bar very high.
Other noteworthy features include custom widgets, unlimited color schemes to help you create a website that incorporate your brand identity. Also worth mentioning this theme is translation ready. Let me know what you think of Pixova, which I would crown the best free one page theme of 2015!
Parallax One is one of my new favourite single page WordPress theme. Create by the same guys that brought you Zerif an extremely popular WP theme. You get the same high standards you would expect. Parallax One comes translation ready so you can now have your site is a different language. Another bonus to consider is that you get free support.
The Zerif theme might just be one of the must popular themes of its kind with over a thousand downloads daily. It’s also been featured in best of business collection. What makes this template so special in my opinion is its elegant design smooth scrolling and well laid out pages. You can also sell with Zerif if you wish as its WooComerce supported. Go and try it out for yourself I am confident you will be very happy with it indeed. Also, worth mention is that it’s well supported by it author to keep you up to date with the latest trends.
Starter as been featured in many of our collection and for good reasons too. This design is modern to give that all important professional and good first impression. Usually, we would recommend our readers to consider paid themes instead but these days the free themes are becoming more robust. The starter is a good example of a good robust theme that looks great and as most the features you would want.
The highlights of the Starter theme is carousel slider to showcase your portfolio in an engaging way. Other features include parallax background that is a popular trend of 2015 and is sure to carry on well into 2016.
OneEngine Multi-Purpose One Page WordPress Theme
I might be going off track here a little bit, but I am impressed the sort of free templates being release this year. OneEngine is just another example great example of the sort of high-quality free themes being released. The highlight of this theme is the layout builder included, custom contact form, parallax scrolling, pricing tables and much more.
Cuda – Free One Page WordPress Theme
If love flat web design, then Cuda might just be the perfect match for you. Cuda is a great example of flat web design done right; the metro colors work well to complement each other. Microsoft is one on the main big brands I can think of that brought metro colours with their Widows software. The highlights of this theme for me is lazy load and the smooth scrolling which helps your page speed and gives it a nice animation in. Other noteworthy features include a dynamic slider, skills, and portfolio section.
Business Elite is one of the latest responsive and SEO-friendly WordPress themes from Web Dorado. This theme has a minimalistic feel and leverages powerful features such as parallax and sticky menus to increase reader retention and appeal. Business Elite is also mobile friendly, and is cross-browser compatible, meaning your visitors will have a great user experience, no matter which browser they are visiting through.
Agency one page Bootstrap portfolio theme
I love hero heading so it’s no surprise that I would love Agency by Start Bootstrap and hope you do too. It’s simple, easy to navigate which is what we all sometimes lose focus on when creating your websites. Agency is aimed at agencies as the name suggest but also small business. It’s a well-coded theme, and I urge you to check it out.
Moesia is another popular theme created by the guys over at aThemes, it’s worth mentioning that this template is also featured in our best of business collection. The highlights of this theme for me is the predefined blocks on the homepage to help you create a unique look in no time.
Business One is a great all round theme I am impressed with the attention to detail. Built on Bootstrap framework you get a really clean responsive theme for your business. With Business One, you can easily showcase your portfolio, team and services on a clean theme. You can’t go wrong with this theme it looks professional and comes with all the features you should need.
The switch is a real contender to consider seriously; it looks great. The theme loads slightly slow but once everything is loaded the user experience is superb. Thanks to the smooth scrolling and well times animation.
You get a pretty fullscreen slider to communicate clearly to your audience what your site is about along with a call to action button.
The testimonial slider looks great and blends well with the theme that will help install confidence in your reader/leads.
The most stunning thing about this theme for me is the footer wich is beautifully designed. Go and check it out and let me know your thoughts.
The limo theme is another to consider, however in my opinion the design is a bit dated but it come with most the features you would want to create a kick-ass one page website.
This might be nit-picking, but I personally don’t like the numerous animation as you scroll dow the page. It can me quite distracting, and you can not be sure it will display on older browsers as it should.
Some of the great thing about Limo includes the inbuilt lazy load that helps increase page load time.
Check it out and let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
If you want to stand out and be different, try One tone. I was resistant to try this theme out due to the dark colours that I found overwhelming. After trying it, I am converted into a raving fan of Onetone. The highlights of this template for me is definitely the video header background that as inspired me to create something similar for 85ideas. You get all the feature you would expect, services section, portfolio and so on.

#1 Parallax Pro
Everyone is aware of the quality theme StudioPress developer usuals come with and Parallax Pro is their finest work when it comes to One Page WordPress themes. This isn’t the only one for this specific niche with Genesis framework but this is definitely the best one. As the name suggests, it comes with parallax scrolling effect throughout the main page which can be built easily using widgets.
The theme is costlier than competitors, $99.95, but the features and functions it comes with makes it deserve that. It comes with responsive layout and a lot of customization options to further make it look unique and personal.
This one is developed by MyThemeShop and it comes in two layouts, one is One Page, off course, but the other one is a fully functional blog. The package includes AJAX loading, Drag and Drop homepage builder, SEO norms taken care of, and compatibility with HTML5 and CSS3 to stay totally modern and light weight.
The theme comes with unique blog layout, as I previously mentioned which doubles the benefit of buying it. It comes with a handy feature allowing disable/enable any feature or element easily. The theme uses responsive layout and compatibility with high-resolution screens.
This one will cost you just $34 because of the limited features it comes with. But the ones included inside are good enough to run a personal blog. It aims for the minimal design layout with responsive and Retina ready visuals. It includes a powerful portfolio section that can help you showcase the kind of work you are an expert in.
The theme still comes with all needed features like 70+ fonts, translation ready, cross browser compatibility, compatibility with modern WordPress version, compatible with Contact Form 7 plugin, and support for full-width background images.
#4 Agency Pro
Altitude Pro is the next recommendation which is one of the best theme StudioPress has shared. The theme is perfectly suitable for running a business website, with a fully functional blog. The homepage itself holds all the details a business site will require like portfolio, team information, and not to forget, a welcome page.
It comes with customization options for header, menus, background, and offers five color schemes and six layout options to pick. The Genesis’s theme options panel is available at the back-end to bring visual and functional changes with simple clicks and the theme is HTML5 ready to stay very modern.
Jarvis is the best theme in my compilation here if your requirements are too much. This theme cost $59 but comes with dozens of premium features to completely justify the higher price tag. It even comes with twelve unique homepage customizations which are easy to pick and setup. The theme supports images to be placed in the background along with videos.
It comes with a full-screen slider, unlimited skins to pick, RTL support, Child theme ready, Contact Form 7 compatibility, WooCommerce integration, WPML ready, and MailChimp support. The package includes Revolution slider which itself comes at a price.
#6 Altitude Pro
By default, this theme is perfect for running a website for digital marketing or website development agency or company or maybe a startup. It looks super cool, thanks to the way it looks. Every element looks super elegant, simple and good enough to woo the visitor towards the Call to Action area.
It uses parallax scrolling effect to further make things visually stunning and includes customization options like a custom background, custom header, sidebar layout options, HTML5 markup, and comes in the total responsive layout. It can be used as a landing page as well.
This one is the best product from Elegant Themes, being compatible for multiple niches. It comes with a Drag and Drop visual page builder making it easy to setup the theme any way you like and make sure it matches with the unique requirements at your end. One of the benefits of buying this theme is that you might not have to buy themes further since it can take care of a lot of niches.
Coming to our special requirement of One Page layout, Divi does offer it, and not just for the sake of it, but in a super good looking view. Moreover, it comes with hundreds of options to use and customize the page further.
This theme is specifically designed to run an agency, business or studio web profile. It comes at a cost of just $39 and includes dedicated support for first six months. The theme includes three unique homepage layouts which are easy to pick and perfectly compatible with different screen size devices. Yes, it uses responsive or fluid design layout.
Further, it comes with the light and dark mode, and some of the elements included can be set for any kind of color. It includes customizable navigation style, offering different color, images and patterns to pick. Font Awesome icons are also included to make it look even better.
SCRN is another premium theme available at the same $39 price at ThemeForest but it offers a unique layout than my previous recommendation. It uses HTML5 and CSS3 as a base, making things totally modern, and secure seeking minimum consumption of available bandwidth.
It comes with sticky navigation and bunch of Shortcodes to easily help users get a particular customization anywhere on the website. A dedicated Options Panel is offered at the back-end to bring subtle visual changes with simple clicks.
#10 Atmosphere Pro
This last recommendation is developed by StudioPress and yes it comes with Genesis framework at the base. It’s totally modern being compatible with HTML5 and looks wise, you’re going to find it super cool. It uses two design styles and merges on the same homepage with parallax scrolling to further get candy visuals.
