    Hi,

Here’s another recommendation for WordPress users: the plugin Sagenda
    available here https://wordpress.org/plugins/sagenda/

It’s definitely worth using as a calendar booking option on WP. Sagenda may be used as a free booking
system plugin ideal for medical scheduling, hotel or event booking and reservations.
The plugin is recently available (released in mid-2014), and it also works on Drupal 7. Yes, it’s free.

    Thanks,
    Cristina

MOST of the plugins listed are either (i) not compatible with the current version of WordPress (4.4); (ii) have not been updated in MONTHS; and/or (iii) are not CURRENT to be listed as recommended for 2016. I trusted that an article that came up first in a Google search for “best google calendar widget 2016” would at least have information that was researched a little.
